Welcome to JLime

JLime is an attempt to port Linux to the Jornada and MobilePro Handheld PC's. JLime aims to provide a maintained distribution which can be used to transform your HPC into either an enhanced PDA or a mini-laptop. As with all Linux code, JLime is open source and free to use.

I thought it was time for an update :

wiki
Wiki is progressing nicely as you might have noticed. We have already gotten several translations of the main page and we are busy filling it with content.

kernels
Kernelwise we are also seeing progress. 2D accelerated 700 kernels are working nicely and has already been accepted upstreams into vanilla kernel.

Rafa and B_Lizzard have been working to update the 2.6.17 kernel for 600. They have made good progress and we will update the kernel shortly.

userlands
I am building a new feed for both 600 and 700 which I will eventually hand over to the userlands maintainers so they can create something fancy.

Spam on site
As pointed out in earlier posts we have had some issues with spambots creating posts in the forums. We are working hard at cleaning them out quickly and also banning their ip adresses. Please report if you see a post that clearly doesnt belong here.
