Summer is upon us
(note. all stable kernels can be found on http://devfiles.jlime.com/kernel/)
Ive updated the hp7xx stable 2.6.25 kernel. APM should work now. That leaves sound/suspend to be fixed. Ive started coding on the sounddriver, will take awhile but the L3 handling is almost ready. Will keep everyone updated on that.
on mp900c we are still figuring out the USB adresses (irq/io) but we are coming close. There already exist a driver which should work nicely. Getting USB to work is a priority since it will greatly benefit our users. The sound is already supported inside the kernel so its a matter of making it build and supplying the adresses it needs. Pretty much same thing as USB.
hp6xx talking with input maintainer to fixup the keyboard issue with the 2.6.25 kernel. Its mostly reverted and we have concluded that the problem was due to our move to input-poll (kernel API) instead of ordinary input (API). We hope to solve this shortly.
As always we require kernel hackers, theres no lack of jobs just people ![]()
